Kyoto Hemp Forum - Children

Welcome children. Nobody in this process of overcoming climate change is more important than you.

Fashion Diva Starr Mitchell and her brother, spelling champion and math enthusiast Coylee Mitchell, plus their brother Jon Pierre Mitchell who is teaching Medicine, Inc. about how to overcome brain seizures his whole life inspired this page. Their ideas throughout this process are keys to co-creating an action plan to save the planet and ourselves.

They are absolutely right. Children have a lot to say about how this world is run and adults must listen. This room is for you to post in plus please, feel free to visit any of the other rooms.

I respectfully disagree with the claim that you are our future.  You are our present, the reason we are here. It is important that we include your ideas and actions into healing ourselves and our world.

Farming is an important element in healing the world. From nutrition to plants cleaning the soil and air, called phytoremediation, everyone has a role to play, none more important than yours.

Technology is doing a lot to open the barriers to learning how to save ourselves. What we don't know we can learn and/or figure it out.

Here's an example of the world of positive possibilities ahead. Using plants to fuel the 3d printing upgrade to our lives, there is nothing we cannot accomplish.

Here's another example below.

Children, you picked a great time to be alive. Your generation's participation is key to saving the world. Thank you.

Upload your ‘environmental rap / spoken word’, or whatever other ideas you have in the comments section below. When you get old, you will have a record of you working to save the world since childhood. I pray that your children be as proud of and grateful for you as we are. It will bring you great comfort in your old age.

Thank you.

Kyoto Hemp Forum - Plastics

There are topics that just need to be handed to the Guru in the field, Paul Benhaim

Hemp plastics are not made from hemp oil or hemp seeds, but from the stalk. They are the preferred options to PP-glass fiber, High Heat ABS and PC/ABS.
Flame retardant for specific grades, using halogen-free additives.

Not only do we supply granules, we provide smart solutions for our customers, and for their customers. We will lead you through every step of injection molding.”

Of course the hemp that is used will have to pass quality control inspections, as some situations may require 3-5 crop rotations that we know about.  Set quality standards.

Hemp Plastic is an affordable bio based natural fibre composite to replace oil based raw materials.

Designed in Europe over 15 years and now produced in China, Hemp Plastics compete with engineering compounds in properties such as stiffness and high heat tolerance (HDT).

Both biodegradable and recyclable blends address global policies for CO2 reduction and oil dependence.

Please post your thoughts, videos and photos in the comments sections. As we build and implement the Action Plan for implementing the hemp solution and other smart actions, we're sharing ideas. Thanks.

Kyoto Hemp Forum - Phytoremediation

Since the problem is too many toxins in the soil, water and air, the solution is to use effective means to clean it up.

Phytoremediation is the science of using plants to help clean our environment. Richard M. Davis, USA Hemp Museum frequently said that hemp is a biomass champion at pulling toxins from our environment. For example, hemp breathes excess CO2, a major greenhouse gas as it grows.

“Hemp improves the physical condition of the soil, and when retted on the same ground where it grows, it returns most of the fertilizing elements” Hemp, Lifeline To The Future by Chris Conrad pg. 167

Hemp breathes in the excess global warming CO2 gas from the air as it grows” said Richard M. Davis, USA Hemp Museum

Focusing on agriculture is the best way to begin the process of using hemp to help us deal with climate change.Climate change is a global problem, not fixable by any one nation, though it will take only one nation to begin. When the cause of climate change is too many toxins in the environment, out of balance, the solution is to remove the excess toxins and restore balance. This is simple science.

In the name of greed, we have made parts of nature illegal while we wonder why we have environmental problems.

Hemp was planted around Chernobyl's nuclear disaster site to pull radioactive elements from the ground. Jack Herer said that hemp works like a mop absorbing nuclear toxins from the soil. Toxic metals like lead, which causes violent behavior and other health problems, are also absorbed by hemp and other phytoremediation plants like tobacco, mushrooms, thistle, sunflowers, etc. Science from many governments and educational institutions back up the need for us to implement an international phytoremediation program immediately to help solve climate change at the level of cause.

An immediate end to hemp prohibition will allow us to use this biomass champion in a hemp phytoremediation program.

"Phytoremediation can be defined as the decontamination of soil, sediment or water using plant growth. Industrial hemp, Cannabis sativa L., is renowned for its ability to grow rapidly. In one growing season, fiber hemp can yield 250 to 400 plants per square meter, with each plant reaching up to 5 meters in height. As a result, hemp has been identified as a plant with the potential to serve as a phytoremediator." The same way hemp was used to clean up the toxins around Chernobyl, we should be using hemp to clean up the toxins from the Gulf of Mexico "oil spill" (more like a volcano) and other environmental crisis situations.

Remember: The McGraw-Hill Companies reported in 2000 "Overall, phytoremediation has great potential for cleaning up toxic metals, pesticides, solvents, gasoline, and explosives."

Please post your thoughts, videos and photos in the comments sections. As we build and implement the Action Plan for implementing the hemp solution and other smart actions, we're sharing ideas. Thanks.

Kyoto Hemp Forum - Environment

“Most of the nutrients used by hemp are stored in the foliage and returned to the soil as mulch at the close of the season” HLLTTF pg 60 – Let’s get this process in gear, mass hemp growing can help.

Hemp as a tool to address cleaning up our environment and many health conditions we are facing.

In great part because of our perceived climate change crisis, the days of “vegetable criminalization” HLLTTF pg 287 are being forced to close, replaced by common sense.

Hemp Pulls Lead From the Soil

CNN’s #UnitedShades did a piece on the violence in Camden, NJCamden has had the same lead problem for the last 20 years going on in Flint and many other places.

There is a theory ‘Nero fiddled while Rome burned’ may be connected to the aqueduct's lead pipes, plumber’s colic. Here's the Harvard paper on the subject of lead causing violent behavior.  Here's a Mother Jones piece .  And a Forbes follow up.

"Overall, phytoremediation has great potential for cleaning up toxic metals, pesticides, solvents, gasoline, and explosives. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that more than 30,000 sites in the United States alone require hazardous waste treatment. Restoring these areas and their soil, as well as disposing of the wastes, are costly projects, but the costs are expected to be reduced drastically if plants provide the phytoremediation results everyone is hoping for."

Nero must stop fiddling. Phytoremediation pulls lead and other toxins from the environment.

THE FIRE THIS TIME! Nevada Radioactive Waste Facility Fire Close to Las Vegas - October 2015

The Fire This Time Is 100 Miles
North of Las Vegas, NV

I live in Lake Havasu City, AZ, at least for now. I am questioning the environmental impact of the nuclear radiation from the October, 2015 explosion at a U S Ecology nuclear waste dump as a result of a fire, so we've been told.

Since I live about 400 miles from the explosion, and have a recent history of brain seizures, I'm wondering if we should get out now and avoid the holiday rush?

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Nevada state officials said Tuesday they don’t know what sparked an apparent explosion and fire at a closed commercial radioactive waste dump in a predominantly rural county, but they vowed that the state will handle the investigation and cleanup.
“We have the jurisdiction. We have the assets, and that’s the course of action,” James Wright, state Department of Public Safety chief, said after reporters asked Nevada emergency, health and environmental protection officials whether state agencies should investigate each other."

"“If we have to fix it, we’ll fix it,” Wright vowed.
The 80-acre industrial dump in Nye County about 115 miles northwest of Las Vegas is on state land and is under state regulatory oversight.
State emergency management chief Caleb Cage and Fire Marshal Peter Mulvihill said the fire burned unabated after starting Sunday during intense thunderstorms and flash flooding in the area."
Here's the short strokes of what I think we should be doing to fix this mess now. Modify from a piece I wrote back in 2013 called HOW TO FIX FUKUSHIMA. Same principles apply. Phytoremediate in hemp, sunflowers, mushrooms and thistle; cannabis for the cancers and brain seizures; entomb existing nuclear plants and waste using 3D printing's contour crafting technique in long lasting radiation shielding materials like hemp, lead, tungsten; and get on a nutrition program to fortify the body like Dr. Joel Wallach's Youngevity vitamins.

Presidential Debate - Obama Won Big On Green Economy

There is no issue we are dealing with more important than can our planet support life. it is key to solving our environmental, economic and educational crisis we are dealing with.

As demonstrated in the second presidential debate, Senator John McCain is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG on green jobs and how to save our environment too. Senator McCain is clueless. The wisdom Senator Barack Obama presented is clear, invest in green jobs and technologies. Senator McCain wants us to drill and build many more nuclear plants, which he won't be here for when they eventually go into nuclear meltdown, like Chernobyl.

What was most vivid in this debate is the contrast of looking to the past or to the present/future. McCain is so past. Maybe his presence around nuclear energy has something to do with his cancers.

Obama is so CORRECT, CORRECT, CORRECT on the path we must take to continue with a present and future.

In my opinion, the only way Senator McCain can win is another stolen election. This is not an challenge, it is an opportunity to heal ourselves and our world.

McCain proposes more nuclear waste endangers life, if not ours, then those in the future who gained no benefit from our use. The problem of nuclear waste has not been solved, as putting it on an earthquake fault line under Yucca Mountain is not a smart idea.

We need to look at energies like solar, wind, hydro, magnetic and hemp biofuels and biomass.

Senator John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palan want us to "Drill Baby Drill". Does the phrase "Katrina my ass" have any meaning? America's heaviest hurricane hits are to areas where we have a lot of off shore drilling, i.e. the Gulf of Mexico - Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Ike. Off short drilling heats up the ocean, making the environment ripe for killer storms.

Please vote for wisdom in the White House. Please vote Obama-Biden '08

JOB ONE IS RESTORE BALANCE TO THE ENVIRONMENT

JOB ONE IS RESTORE BALANCE TO THE ENVIRONMENT.

1. Use hemp to scrub the air of the excess greenhouse gas.

2. Shift immediately to clean energy. Replace toxic processes, like making paper from wood, with non toxic processes, like making paper from hemp.

3. Harvest the breaking ice bergs and use that water for drinking and irrigating crops.

4. Plan the possible shift from bee to wind pollinated foods in case the bees don't return next year.

5. Restore truth and competency to government. Shift it back to old school. The Will of the People.

6. To better coordinate the distribution of food, water, health solutions and shelter, make computer access and skills available as rights to communicate and learn.

7. Take time every day to look within for answers. Follow your thoughts to their source if you're not already doing so.

Virgin plans to fly 747 on biofuel in 2008

“The first commercial aircraft to be powered by biofuel will fly next year in what could be a significant step towards airlines reducing their oil consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.

Virgin Atlantic is to announce today that one of its 747 jumbo jets will be used to demonstrate that biofuels can power an aircraft. The project, which includes Boeing and General Electric, the engine-maker, hopes to have the “green” jumbo airborne in 2008.”

It's past time to get off of toxic energy so we can stop global warming and heal the environment. If an energy source kills us or hurts the environment, get off of it. Stop using it. Replace it with non-toxic alternatives like biofuels, solar, wind, hydro, magnetic and the like. This is not complex. It is only the greed of toxic energy that has us killing ourselves so the industry can keep getting record profits. Greed is when it's all about the dollar. It's time to be about saving our lives.

Richard M. Davis of the USA Hemp Museum, http://www.hempmuseum.org/ just finished a book called HEMP FOR VICTORY: A GLOBAL WARMING SOLUTION.

The book is about how hemp scrubs the air of the excess greenhouse gas CO2 as it grows, and burns clean as a biofuel. Davis includes a piece from the US Department Of Agriculture written in 1913 that’s all about hemp and what a wonderful plant it is, how to grow and process it, etc. He applies the successful HEMP FOR VICTORY program used in World War II to the modern problem of global warming.

A tax on recreational hemp would finance growing hemp on 20% of unused federal land and provide a bonanza of job and business ownership opportunities, fully funded. The excess funds could be used to help with the effects of global warming, i.e. some the victims of Katrina still need to be resettled.

Tain't fittin. Just tain't fittin' what 'da Bushwacker and 'da insurance companies done did to dem. We should fix that!

Looks like the book is just in time for the future. The first signs of the great shift to common sense, healing global warming, have begun. Enjoy the journey.

"Virgin plans to fly 747 on biofuel in 200824th April 2007

The first commercial aircraft to be powered by biofuel will fly next year in what could be a significant step towards airlines reducing their oil consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.
Virgin Atlantic is to announce today that one of its 747 jumbo jets will be used to demonstrate that biofuels can power an aircraft. The project, which includes Boeing and General Electric, the engine-maker, hopes to have the “green” jumbo airborne in 2008.

The airline and its partners are testing up to eight biofuels to determine which is most effective at altitude. Ethanol, which is becoming an increasingly popular alternative to petrol in cars, has been rejected because it does not burn well in thin-oxygen environments.

The idea of replacing petrol with biofuel in cars is a significant trend in the car industry. Last year Ford announced a £1 billion research project to convert more of its vehicles to these new fuel sources.

However, converting an aircraft to run on biofuel was thought to be a much longer-term project and the announcement from Virgin today will surprise those in the industry who have scorned the idea.

Virgin hopes that biofuel-powered aircraft could be operating commercially within five years, which could help to cut significantly the airline industry’s carbon dioxide emissions. At present air travel contributes 2 per cent to 3 per cent of climate-change gases, but that level is increasing as the activity expands. The industry is investing in lighter aircraft and new engines to improve fuel efficiency, but biofuels could eliminate oil dependence entirely.

Sir Richard Branson, the chairman of Virgin Atlantic, launched an alternative fuels division last year, pledging the profits from his airline and trains for the next ten years.

A source close to the biofuel project said: “Everyone was saying that flying a plane with alternative energy sources was a decade away, but it is going much faster than that. The demonstration by a 747 next year will be a milestone in the airline industry’s attempts to reduce its CO2 emissions and cut its fuel bills.”
